McMillian Developments was founded by Candince T. McMillian in 2000. We are committed to
creating quality affordable housing to senior citizens and low-income families living in Central City
New Orleans.
Our most recent initiative will provide 'six' three bedroom homes to low-income families on a
stretch of property we acquired near the B.W. Cooper Apartments. We will work in accordance
with The Housing and Urban Development Agency to provide quality, safe affordable housing for
six families. We are also working with Fidelity Bank to purchase (3) new commercial buildings in
central city to provide affordable housing as well as community services to residents in the
surrounding areas.
At McMillian Developments, we also recognize that community revitalization is not restricted to
the restoration of distressed residential and commercial structures. For us, it also embodies
providing members of a community with various service projects. Some of these projects have
included fellowship outreaches, clothing drives, toy giveaways, recreational activities for senior
citizens, after school extracurricular activities for youth and young adult summer employment
